Random City Shuffle Gathering

I have been inspired by the groups of break dancers who just setup and have a dance with mates for fun. I want to generate a positive culture and group of shufflers who are like minded and can share the same enthusiasm for the dance we love to do.

We gona take down some CDs, a speaker and an amp and just shuffle for the fun of it. We will also get some photos and lots of videos for you.

I only want to invite people who will actually shuffle and have no problem with performing in the middle of the city and have everyone look at them. I just want happy people who encourage each other and not give shit or be negative. It’s just a bit of fun with friends who like to dance. Just like break dancers go and practice dance together for fun.

All are welcome, but only if you will wear your phat pants and have fun!

Stamp Exhibition @ Sub3ng Parade

Last week, eraine and I went for the Stamp Exhibition at Sub3ng Parade Shopping Centre.

I drooled from the beginning until the end. I spent a sinful RM50 on them!!

Two young newspaper reporters approached us for a photo. One of the reporters tried interviewing us in Mandarin.

Girl: *said something in Mandarin to eraine*
eraine conveniently said, “wo bu hui chiang hu yu“. That means, “I cant speak Mandarin”

Obviously shocked, the girl had no choice but to interview me. She asked me what kind of stamps I bought. I could not think of the proper words for it (my Mandarin is bad). Hence, I said, “sher mok tou mai!!” (I buy whatever there is!!).

They then made us pose with the newly launched stamps on our hands. If you see us on Sin Chew Jit Poh, those weren’t our stamps!!

I think the obvious reason why the reporters approached is that we were the ‘young’ patrons there. Other patrols were either too old or too young (primary school kids).

I overhead a conversation by 2 men.

Men 1: Why are only primary school kids here? What happen to the secondary school kids?
Men 2: I think those kids are in the cinema or doing something “cool”

How true, eraine and I were the only young adults there.

Based 50 kilometres away from the city centre, the rave had its ample share of space, plenty of room to dance and mediocre sound system.

Music was a little bit crappy in the beginning. It gradually became better as soon as Christopher Lawrence hit the decks.

Shout outs to those who came up to me regarding my website. Nice meeting you guys!

However, someone mistaken ivN for me. I think he even took a picture with him! Anyway, nice meeting you dude!

The rave ended at 5AM, not 3AM as provided in the klue forum. Anne Savage’s hard pumping hard house was good. However, by then, everyone has either left or too tired to dance. There were rumours flying around that police were blockading the roads for urine test and random urine test at the toilets. Some of my friends had to hold their piss for hours!

Stamp exhibition

Dad came back from Thailand today. He got me some marvelous stamps. They wereee soooooooo OooOoooOooh..okay i should say that word. hehe

2. Please do not pay any car park charges to any person. We are providing FREE parking services. Please do not keep any valaubles in the car. There will be security but we are not responsible for any damages and breakins etc.

3. Please dress in comfort, this is in the outdoor go kart circuit. Its situated in the valley and it can get warm and humid. We have mist fans.

4. The dance floor is split in too areas, tarmac & the grass area. So heels might be bad for ladies. Its a race track. If injured there is ambulance on site.

5. Credit card is not excepted on site. Please have enough cash.

6. Beverage will be controled. Beer at RM10 and Mineral Water at RM5.

7. There will be food sold on site. If you are hungry.

No way that I’ll head down there at 6PM to line up for the free tickets. But if you’re planning to do so, here’s a useful suggestion, after get the tickets, drive down to Port Dickson or Seremban for dinner 😀 Great idea from Johnson 😀

Philately

Lately, when I close my eyes, I see…

STAMPS!!

They’re everywhere!!

But the sight of them lined up neatly on my stamp book and the colours of it, is just too orgasmic!!

I have been on a stamps shopping spree lately. Stamp collecting has always been one of children’s favourite hobbies. However, most people lose interest in it when they grew older. I on the other hand, restarted my passion when I was in England.

Some people might find this hobby childish but it is a worldly recognised hobby, post offices around the world has a department dedicated to philately! Well at least this is a legitimate hobby. A friend of mine collects different kind of ecstasy pills he could get. I wonder if he is still around, hope he is not on the death row.

I saw the news on the oldest postcard in the world, it was first used in 1840 and it is now worth 20,000 pounds!

If you have any unwanted stamps collection and wishes to dispose them off, please give it to me!! I’ll trade it with eumm.. my collection of Melbourne Shuffle videos. Anyone?

Geranium

Couple of months ago, my colleague mentioned a plant by the name man chou in another words, mosquito repelling plant. I was immediately interested with it as my house is mosquito infested. Further, my neighbours garden is a bloody mini jungle.

So today, I bought the so-called mosquito repellent plant from a nursery. It has a strong distinctive smell, which I think that will repel the mosquitoes.

I did a little research on the internet and found a website, which rebuts the myth that the plant doesnt work as a mosquito repellent. However, after hearing stories about how her uncle successfully repelled all the mosquitoes at his house, I was convinced. Further, i heard that Singapore Night Safari breed these plants in order to ward off mosquitoes.

Its better to have few plants around the around. My colleague said that we could grow them easily by cutting off the stem and plant it on another pot. Will update as soon as I see the results!

Btw…mmmmm… I wonder if i could smoke it..hmmmm…

It is located on the Island of Borneo and is better known as East Malaysia together with Sabah.
