brutal mother

My mother is a petite 62-year-old woman who doesn’t speak English well and very protective of her plants. So this afternoon, while I was on my way to meet up with Wei Chen, Sui Lin, Cris and Jessie for lunch, there were 2 Indian men chopping her plants outside our house. Apparently, our neighbour ordered them to do so because those plants were blocking their parking space.

It’s not the first time they started killing plants. There’s a huge mango tree, which has been bearing fruits for us for the past 20 years, was poisoned by them. Our late neighbour who was some big shot Chinese tycoon planted the tree. Mum said he loved the tree very much. However, the tree is still there but the fruits are not edible due to the poison administrated.

The current neighbour operates a Pre-School which has 0 students cause they didn’t open in time. So back to the story, Mum walked out from the house and asked those 2 Indian men to stop. She then called our neighbour, a dark skinned woman and ordered her to stop. Mum said those trees belongs to her and it’s necessary for the trees to be there cause it keeps the ground in tact (some cock reason she always give but it works). The lady fought back saying that it’s her land and bla bla bla, the argument went on. And in the end, my mother, a petite 62-year-old woman who doesn’t speak English well ended the argument by shouting, “FUCK YOU!” and walked away.

Obviously, I was shocked.

Out with Sui Lin
Sui Lin and I headed to Sungai Wang and Lot 10 to do some shopping. Sui Lin wanted to shop. So called shopping, she didn’t buy a thing. She wanted to get a new pair of shoes but found out that most of the shoes in Sg Wang were imitation goods. I can’t believe they could add an extra stripe and replace the world Adidas with Sports on an Adidas look-alike shoe.

Ghost Festival
The air smells of burnt bank notes. Well, Hell bank notes. It’s the Chinese ghost festival today. Since my area is predominately Chinese, I could see people burning offerings to the dead in every corner. As usual, Mum and I burnt the offerings outside our house. I heard that once you start burning offerings, you have to do it next year otherwise the ghosts will look for you. 😀

Anyway, there’s pattern that we have to follow while burning those offerings. In the beginning, Mum scolded me for not following the pattern. Firstly, we had to perch the candles and joss stick, pour the food around and then start burning the hell bank notes and stuff.

Ok to end this post, a note to Ben, “Wanna go Genting or not??????????”

punching bag *kabish*

Finally, I bought a punching bag. I bet my friends are relieved with that news, as I don’t need to use them as my punching bag anymore. Ha ha. I got it from Mid Valley with a 20% discount cause a friend of mine works there hence he gave me a discount. I’m going to hang it outside my house but I’m afraid that one day, I’ll wake up finding my punching bag missing. God damn the mother fucking thieves.

Get well soon, Sui Sui and Crishai!

pirated vcd business!

Speaking about pirated VCD business, the Malaysian government has been conducting raids to confiscate pirated VCD. It is now virtually impossible to see a VCD stall on the street of Kuala Lumpur. However, some VCD sellers have resorted into guerrilla warfare tactics. Sometimes they would approach people on the streets like salesmen, or sometimes they would head to an office and approach the workers there and even selling them in a back of a lorry. As I have mentioned yesterday, pirated VCD business sounds like a profitable business. However, it is not entirely true. A relative of mine borrow few thousands Malaysian Ringgit from loan sharks to finance his VCD business. Unfortunately, due to the government’s ban on sale of pirated VCD, he lost all the money and he and his family had to run away from home. Now, their once beautiful wooden house located on the side of a lake with coconut trees surrounding it, is sealed and abandoned.

Btw, GET WELL SOON SHARON 😀 *hugs*

same old shit different day

Nothing to talk about. Same old shit different day.

Had my usual yamcha session with the mini blogging community and my friends almost everyday. We made couple of plans for this weekend. Thursday night might be clubbing at Atmosphere, Friday night is indoor soccer night and Saturday night would be movie night 😀

Oh yeah, I bumped into one of my former high school mates this afternoon. He quit school when he was in Form 3. But now, he drives a E-class Mercedes. All thanks to the pirated VCD business 😀

clubbing for 3 days in a row :D

Thursday = Tech-circuit, Atmosphere
Friday = Jungle Jerry’s attempt to set Malaysian’s spinning record, Atmosphere
Saturday = Regenerate, Emporium

I got into Regenerate for free. Well, the first 200 patrons get free entry but unfortunately I was the number 201 patron. God damn it! However, Jia Nee and Cris had a little plot. Jia Nee and I exchanged entry hand band while Jia Nee claims for a Media pass to get in. However, it didn’t work cause Jia Nee’s name wasn?t on the media list. However again, I was already inside Emporium using the entry hand band. I passed the entry hand band to Cris so that he could pass it to back Jia Nee. It worked! 3 of us got inside for free!

The music was good but the atmosphere wasn?t so good. It was pretty boring.

Okay, I think I’m off the clubbing scene till the 16th August, Genting Highland rave.

Btw, Happy Birthday Facky 😀

Euw
Euww… This morning, Dad found a kitten’s head under the table. Apparently, it was bitten off by some animal. It couldn’t be the mother of the kitten cause it’s mouth is too small. We suspected it was the neighbour’s dog who occasionally runs into our compound. May the kitten rest in peaaceeee…amennn

Ops… news update! Apparently the kitten wasn’t killed by my neighbour’s dog but was killed by it’s own mother. My tenant saw the mother killing it’s own child. :/

Movie Bad boys tonight :D

Last night, while I was happily relaxing at the Pasar Malam with Wai Keong, Mum called. Her car was stalled again! Initially she said her car ran out of battery. I left Wai Keong at Steven’s Corner, and headed straight to BP gas station to buy a new car battery. Unfortunately, they ran out of stock but the Shell station near Yaohan has some. So I immediately drove there and found 2 available batteries for sale. However, those 2 were of different sizes and I didn’t know which one to buy. I asked the counter but she doesn’t know anything about batteries. I called En Peng and Soon Loong to check since they used to drive a Proton Iswara. Unfortunately, they didn’t give me a precise answer. Without hesitation, I bought the smaller battery cause it somehow resembles the one we usually see.

Mum called again. This time she said she thinks that the car ran out of gas. I got so fucking pissed cause there were many times I asked her to put more gas on to the car. Usually, she’ll just put 10 bucks worth of petrol. Furthermore, this was the second time her car ran out of petrol.

I bought 2 bottles of mineral water, drank a sip and emptied it. I then got RM4 worth of petrol and drove to Sg. Besi to look for Mum. The search didn’t go smooth. I got on to the different route and had to divert back to the other route.

Fortunately, I found Mum, poured the RM4 worth of petrol into the car and tried starting the car. It didn’t work. I pushed the gear to P and turned off the air-con. I tried again. It worked. The engine purred again.

Car accident

Day 3 in back in Kuala Lumpur = Car accident.
What the fuck! I was driving to Steven’s Corner to meet up with my high school girlfriend, Choi Hsia. While I was just few blocks away, a car stopped suddenly in front of me. I was late. So I looked at the back mirror screen to check out for cars and there were none. So without hesitation, I shifted my gear to R and reverse. Suddenly, *kaboom*

It was a white Proton Wira that was actually parked on the side of the road and it’s front portion exposed on to the main road. It was totally invisible from the back mirror. Ah, I got out from the car and confronted the owner, a middle-aged Chinese couple. I was expecting a peaceful discussion but apparently not. The husband burst out in anger, shouting and scolding me. I didn’t expect a middle-aged uncle bursting in anger. Apparently he loves his car very much and he doesn’t drive it often. (The car was shiny white). His front bonnet was dented, couple of parts scratched and couple of things cracked. I then offered him my phone number
(Translated into English from Cantonese)
“I don’t want your phone number!”
“Then what do you want? I got only RM50 in my pocket. Go fix your car then give me a call” (In a calm voice)
(Same argument went over and over again)
“I don’t want your number!”

Our cars were blocking the road and hence we moved out cars to the petrol station nearby. As I got out from the car, the uncle seems to cool down. He wasn’t angry anymore and we even joked. He asked me where I’m from and we had a little conversation. He told me that couple of weeks ago someone damaged his car when he parked his car in Carrefour Shopping Centre. He found RM150 slipped on to his window screen.

His wife called a relative who deals with cars to quote the damage. It will cost RM300. I told him to call me after he fixes it. But he still didn’t want my number. I don’t know why, probably it would be troublesome. He then offered to settle the thing for RM150. I checked my wallet but I only had RM140. I gave him all the money. All I had left was RM2.20.

A fortuneteller once told me that my wealth would not deplete no matter what but I would not be very rich. I would always have money in my pocket. So far it’s always true. I managed to have a drink with Choi Hsia. She offered to lend me some money but I immediately rejected her. However, after much persuasion, I decided to borrow RM10 from her. However again, she was generous enough to give me RM50. 😀 Thanks!
